His journey begins when a compassionate young priest helps him heal, only for tragedy to strike again. Seeking purpose, Agustín joins the merchant ship Sophia, embarking on an epic adventure across oceans and personal trials that will test his bravery and resilience.
This is not just a story of adventure; it’s a heartfelt exploration of love, loss, and the bonds that can guide us home.
Agustin and the Hidden Compass was an excellent book which emotionally moved me throughout. It was beautifully written and I was thoroughly entertained. Definitely recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars (I’m a harsh reviewer and don’t give 5 stars out easily so this is an impressive achievement!)

Definitely a good book, one of the strongest ones I’ve come across. The story is tense, action-packed, memorable, and offers some fantastic representation for LGBTQ+ people. It was also incredibly emotional—whether I was feeling grief, sadness, joy, despair, or something I can’t quite describe, this story really resonated with me.
